How to use the ABED dashboard

Publicly funded service sites providing detox, treatment, and recovery beds are listed on the dashboard.

Searching and filtering sites by need

When visiting the dashboard, you will have the opportunity to search sites by site name, or filter them by bed service type, age group, gender, or health corridor. You can also narrow the results to sites that offer Indigenous programming.

You can set filters based on your need, in no specific order.

Site card (default):

Site cards contain information about a site, the service bed types it has, the demographics it serves, and its bed availability. Clicking a site card opens the site details view.

Site Characteristics

Site status definitions:

Available – Site has 10% or more beds available.
Almost Full – Site has less than 10% beds available.
Full – Site has no beds available.
Unavailable – Site has temporarily closed its service due to unforeseen events or operational disruptions.

Site details:

Clicking a site card opens the site details view. It repeats the site's current bed availability, sets out what the site does and does not offer, and gives you its contact information. Some sites obfuscate their location in the interests of the safety and wellbeing of their clients.
